Teaching & Learning Complex, Room 1211

Creating opportunities for students to collaborate on assignments or projects is considered a high-impact practice in higher education (AAC&U, 2008). These collaborative practices can take a number of forms: problem-solving groups, study groups, ongoing group projects, and more. In this session, participants will consider how small group activities can support course learning objectives and will explore strategies for facilitating small group activities in ways that are equitable and productive.
