This series on syllabus design will meet in Walker 1220 (Gibeling Room) for two sessions: Thursday, August 21, 2025 and Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10 am to 12 noon. 

Session 1: Fundamentals of an inclusive syllabus: components, considerations, challenges. 

Session 2: Teaching philosophies, setting expectations, and grading schema; feedback session. 

Attendance at both sessions is required to receive recognition. Participants are encouraged to bring a syllabus already in progress. Don't worry, this is also a chance to begin working on a syllabus. Questions? Email Amy Forester at amforester@ucdavis.edu
