UC Davis’ increasingly diverse student population has accordingly diverse needs. Diverse groups have more robust problem-solving capabilities, and classrooms that foster success broadly and inclusively ultimately improve learning for all students, and benefit instructors as well. This workshop will allow you to reflect on how a person’s circumstances, background and opportunities can influence their learning experience in a university setting. The workshop will also present practical strategies to help you create a more inclusive and effective classroom.
