During this workshop, Dr. Cara Sandholdt will share her lessons learned for engaging and uplifting students in high-flexible and interactive classrooms with an emphasis on promoting critical thinking and long-term retention. She’ll discuss active learning course design, promoting inclusive group interactions, and student engagement methods for small and large courses. 

Dr. Sandholdt has taught in flexible learning classrooms at UC Davis Betty Irene Moore Hall since 2018 year, when she was also an Active Learning Fellow.

Participants will be asked to show their Daily Symptoms Survey prior to entering the workshop.
