Instructors can incorporate active learning effectively not only in their face-to-face classes, but also in their hybrid and online courses. This interactive workshop explores how to make active learning part and parcel of online learning spaces and presents strategies for encouraging online student collaboration and peer teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to examine techniques for incorporating active learning in all aspects of their hybrid/online course design, redesign, learning activities, and learning assessments. No previous knowledge of hybrid/online teaching is required to attend this workshop.
