Join us for the inaugural UC Assessment Conference, hosted by the Center for Educational Effectiveness at UC Davis. This year's theme is: "Assessment Practices that Advance Equity".
We invite faculty, instructors, graduate students, assessment professionals, and academic leaders from UC Davis and other UC system campuses to gather, collaborate, discover, and share Assessment Practices that Advance Equity. The all-day event will include plenary talks, a plenary panel with UC Davis faculty, opportunities to connect with like-minded colleagues, and interactive concurrent sessions.
Conference participants will have opportunities to:
- explore new and promising assessment activities across the University of California;
- establish networks and/or communities of practice that co-create, advance, and enact equity-minded assessment;
- advance assessment of student learning as an essential practice for advancing equity in education.
Pre-registration is now closed.
Walk-in registration will begin in the UCD Conference Center Lobby on April 11 at 8:30 am.

The UC Assessment Practitioner Pre-Conference Workshop is designed for assessment practitioners, academic leaders (e.g., ALOs, VPDUEs), and others whose day-to-day work is minding and managing assessment efforts at a UC campus. The hands-on workshop will include reflection; co-drafting of definitions of equity-minded assessment; co-creation and curation of practices, strategies, and/or tools that advance equity through assessment; and planning for future collaborations/communities of practice.
