Analyst

The Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) is hiring an Analyst to work on grant-funded projects related to online textbooks and homework systems. This is a full-time, contract position expected to last at least 1 year. The successful candidate will be a full partner in the research and will work on all aspects of data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting. Minimum qualifications include BA/BS in statistics or a social science field or equivalent experience, substantial experience with statistical analysis using software such as R or Stata, and excellent skills in communication and teamwork. Ideal candidates may also be familiar with machine learning techniques or survey design, or have experience conducting quantitative education research. 

CEE works collaboratively and creatively with instructors and university academic administrators to foster, build, implement, and institutionalize effective instructional practices. VISION Graduate Student Fellow

The Learning and Teaching unit in the Center for Educational Effectiveness is hiring a graduate student fellow for the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded - Visiting Innovative Scholars Program for Institutions Orienting to National Needs (VISION) grant initiative. The VISION Graduate Fellow will work up to 20 hours per week from March 30th to June 30th at Student Assistant (Level 4, title code 4919). The rate for this work is $20.25 per hour. The fellow will lead and contribute to a variety of instructional support projects, research, and resource development to support the Teaching and Learning Immersion (TLI) of the VISION grant.
