The UC Assessment Conference is open to University of California faculty, staff and students. 

Join us for the second UC Assessment Conference, hosted by the Center for Educational Effectiveness at UC Davis. This year's theme is Equity-Minded Student Learning Outcomes Assessment across the Institution.

The UC Assessment Conference brings together faculty, instructors, staff and leadership from across the University of California system to discuss equity-minded practices for assessing student learning, and connect with like-minded colleagues who share a commitment to advancing equity in higher education.

Conference participants will have opportunities to: 

  • explore new and promising assessment activities across the University of California
  • establish networks and communities of practice that co-create, advance and enact equity-minded assessment
  • advance assessment of student learning as an essential practice for advancing equity in education

The UC Assessment Conference is a one-of-a-kind event for the University of California. We hope you will join us!

UC Assessment Practitioner Preconference Workshop

The UC Assessment Practitioner Preconference Workshop is designed for professional assessment practitioners, academic leaders  and others whose day-to-day work includes supporting, managing, or supervising assessment efforts for academic programs, institutional learning requirements, student affairs and learning focused, co-curricular programs at a UC campus. Those who support instructor pedagogical development and accreditation processes are also welcome to attend. 

The hands-on workshop includes several activities to strengthen the assessment practitioner network across UC, including community building, professional development activities, information and practice sharing, and planning for future collaborations and communities of practice.
