Educational Specialist for Graduate Student Instructional Development
Amy Forester, EdD, MFA, is an Educational Specialist for Graduate Student Instructional Development in Center for Educational Effectiveness. She is the program director for the Teaching Assistant Consultants program, providing teaching professional development and leadership opportunities for graduate students in the TAC and to the broader teaching assistant community at Davis. She has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Portland State University and her research focuses on the curriculum and organizational contexts of STEM future faculty programs. Amy was previously the designer and program manager of Training Future Faculty, a pedagogical professional development program for graduate students and postdocs at Oregon Health & Science University. Before that, she was a community college English and writing instructor.
