Location
Teaching & Learning Complex, Room 1211

Teaching² is a Faculty Reading Circle to promote conversations on campus about teaching. This spring, we will discuss the pedagogy of active learning classrooms as we read and discuss A Guide to Teaching in the Active Learning Classroom: History, Research and Practice by Paul Baepler, J.D. Walker, D. Christopher Brooks, Kem Saichaie, and Christina I. Petersen.  This quarter’s Teaching² provides faculty with a forum to talk about ways they can implement teaching at UC Davis in the new Teaching and Learning Complex.

Meetings for Spring 2022 will be held Tuesdays 12:10 PM - 1:00 PM on April 12April 26 and May 17 in TLC 1211.

Teaching² is facilitated by CEE in a conversational format designed for maximal faculty-to-faculty discussion and interaction. To allow us to engage in a lively and productive small-group discussion, registration for each session is limited to 12 participants. Participants may request a complimentary physical copy of the book from CEE for their personal libraries.
