Building rapport through instructor-to-student interactions and facilitating student-to-student interactions can promote student motivation and intellectual risk taking. As we transition back to in-person instruction, how can we intentionally structure and foster a sense of connection among our students? In this workshop, participants will learn how a sense of community can help foster learning and how to use research-based strategies to facilitate  connectedness and community in the classroom.
