Microaggressions can occur at any time. Managing microaggressions is an important part of creating community and establishing a civil climate in the classroom. In this interactive session, Dr. Cecilia Gomez (CEE) will offer opportunities for participants to learn about strategies they can use to mitigate microaggressions and promote academic and respectful discourse.
