With new flexible learning spaces coming to UC Davis, instructors can now more readily facilitate learning in spaces aligned student-centered pedagogies. Chris Smith (Department of Sociology) will share strategies to integrate active learning in a flexible learning space at UC Davis. Specific examples will be given on team-based learning. She will also share considerations for applying these strategies in traditional classrooms.
