Bio

My name is Siuoneh Didarloo, and I am a Fourth-year Ph.D. student in Psychology. My research focuses on the effects of stereotyping and prejudice on memory and perception, the automatic and controlled components of stereotyping and prejudice, diversity ideologies, attitudes toward ingroup and outgroup members, and impression formation and evaluations of ingroup and outgroup members.

At UC Davis, I have been a TA in the psychology department for four years. Teaching is a passion of mine, and I constantly strive to improve my teaching skills by actively participating in workshops and teaching-related events/programs. I am thrilled to be joining the TAC program and am eager to help and encourage anyone driven by a passion for accessible and equitable education, successful teaching practices, and fostering a learning environment that supports students’ academic pursuits.

Outside of teaching and research, I spend most of my time with my dog, Berry. I also enjoy driving back to LA to spend time with my family and friends, swimming, and trying new foods (no sea food though!).
