Effective Teaching Series for Postdocs

Are you preparing for the academic job market or planning to teach soon? This workshop series is for postdocs who are thinking about teaching as part of their future careers. Attendees will engage in two interactive workshops on active learning and inclusive teaching strategies and have the opportunity to design and facilitate a microteaching session. Participants will also receive feedback on their teaching sessions.

• Tuesday, Feb. 10 @ 10 a.m. - noon: Active Learning
• Tuesday, Feb. 17 @ 9:30 a.m. - noon: Inclusive Teaching
• Tuesday, Mar. 3 @ 9 a.m. - noon: Microteaching Sessions
   

Attendance at all three sessions is required for a recognition of completion provided by the Center for Educational Effectiveness.
